There was a movie about this -- Brewsters Millions (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088850/)

He had to spend $30 million in 30 days to get a $300 million inheritence. He could have no assets at the end of 30 days and he couldnt tell anyone what he was doing or why.

Hmmm 30 in 30 . i bet i could spend it in one haha. I would only have to buy one thing lol

7 new usa made cars (for the children and wife and mothers to my granddaughters) and pay up front for 2 under ground home's built on the hill :thumrigh:
That should do it :thumrigh:

There's a 100 acre horse farm just down the road. They were asking around 1.2, bit ill I could get it for just under and have some left for some horses and quads

A business of some sort. Or start a charity.
Any home or vehicles I buy costing that much will cost more in taxes than I could afford to pay. And I don't need much besides a home and vehicle.

If it had to be something frivolous, then I think I'd buy a mil worth of lottery tickets. I never play the lottery, but in this case, I'm sure I'd have something to show for it at the end.

Not a problem, couple hundred acres of land with a nice handcrafted log home, an all aluminum 572" HEMI, couple new vehicles for dd use, a big cube Kaase Boss motor for the Fairlane.....want me to keep going???

Rent a big motorhome and travel the country and find people in need. I would help war vets, people that were losing their homes, people that are ill, people that have lost their jobs. Then I would come home and think how much better off than I am than lots of folks. I this country 30 large would be easy to get rid of just helping people.

1 million in one day ? That would get you a nice house and a tank of gas around here.

cars and houses and garages and more cars. i would buy out wildcat wrecking and GIVE the parts away//oh wait, a million wouldnt cover it

Well first of all the Feds will extract about half of it for taxes, SO THAT MEANS I only have to spend 500K. Let's see, a hemi RR, hemi Cuda, sixpack................... and a couple of blondes for dinner.............

20 years ago, it may have been tuff. Today, a million is nothing.

I would buy some property, per pay a nice shop and house and pile in the project cars.

Give ya 10 to 1 those are brunettes.

The rules are spend a million in a day, and have nothing personally to show for it.
I guess that is the trick.
The money I could spend and physically have nothing.
However, what I would do is give the Million to my local American Legion, Soldiers Home , boy scouts, girl scouts and some to the historical society. All are are local and in my opinion worthy. I would walk away with something personal though, that would be pride.

Give plently to the Boy Scouts, including my former troop (Troop 90, Cheshire,CT), and then see what the Pentagon wants for that good used F-4 I've always wanted.
