It looks like a valve hit #3cylinder,s piston(bend valve?)and some major detonation in cyl #5.Still a good buy for $170,atleast now you know what you have.
Yes 3,4,7+8 all have same mark they all need to be switched so the valve reliefs line up. I threw the heads on their side and filled the runners W/ fuel and no leakage, If the valves are bent the triple springs are keeping them well seated. ouch. I love cheap stupid mistakes...lol. Fix the piston order, smooth out the sharp edges, and have fun....lol.
