well you prolly can buy them and weld them in on a 60s dart lol. i really dont know wat im gonna do yet im still debating the whole 4 spd 5 spd swap, i really wanna do another cab a redo the wiring but then againt i wanan keep going, either way watever i do with it will be cool either in teh near future or eventually. if i strip the truck ill keep the cool **** off of it, the drive train the seats and all that anybody got any good wiring companies? i got american auto wire and there was another one i had in mind the wiring is just a rats nest, and i think a new clean kit will be alot less wires too and yeah itll be a pain but maybe i can add a few things without having to tap **** in, like say power windows? my radio, my tach and the off road lights

I would look at the newer 84-92 style Dodge trucks, many had power windows, I would think they will work in your truck and easy if it bolts right in. Might be cheaper than aftermarket too. Maybe the Dodge Vans in those tears will have the same window motor stuff? Conversion vans can be easy to find in some yards too.

i was looking at the 80s trucks, i have a set of 86 doors with power windows laying around still intace, but the switches or something went out idk. so i should be good there, i just need a good cab and to suck it up and pay for the wiring harness and msd or street fire ignition boxes. my main worry is that itll be a clone when i take teh cab off.

Thanks 66340SEDAN for that site. I've been thinking of restoring my '80 D200, and it looks like Mill's has what I need.

ive posted the truck up for sale today, ive thought it over and thought it over and over and over again and well, im just gonna sell it. its fought me every step of the way and well im kinda tired of it. so ill offer it up 3 ways the first is the full bag of goodies for 3200 or best offer and will look at trades, without the motor, fuel cell, gauges and the spare parts for 2200 or just as a rolling frame and body without seats for 1300

so ive decided to keep the truck. i just cant part with it for that cheap. and ive been working on the floors and this is wat i have so far.

when i pulled that yellow piece of wood up it wasnt pretty.

and this is the passanger side

so in my new garage area i peeled and cut out some flooring. thne went and bought some 16 gauge plates and then had to work all weekend, which is cool since i spent 100$ on the plates and a new die angle grinder cause i like how small they are and they can get those twist pads... i love those for cleaning metal.

so after i went and got another attchemt since i lost mine. i pulled the truck in the garage....and it fires up so beautifully i might add, but still moves kinda sluggish so i will be adding stop slip to the trans. i removed the seats and set them in my old bedroom at my dads for safe keeping.

and cut and grinded more flooring out since it just had patches of rust during a hard screwdriver test and well i was using a body saw and said f**k it and out came the sawzall which worked so much better lol. and i then cleaned up the front brace and put some of this rust stuff that i have on it

and with a hammer and punch, and an impact screwed the metal to the frame to hold it downwhile i atempt to beat the plate around the corners and wat not but i dont think itll work so i may have to cut and splice it together idk yet. and i may do different thickness as well.

so today im gonna run down to tsc and see wat kinda blades i can find for my body saw and maybe get back to work on it, cause my rents due and i gotta make sure i got enough to pay it.

WOW :glasses7:

Old power wagons are cool.
Here is a shot of my 79K one owner, almost no option power wagon.
It has a 318, 4-speed, options are rear window slider, and road wheels.
Radio delete truck, rubber mat.
Jump in it and drive anywhere.

great to see you on the move....makes me happy to see that truck getting worked on .....that truck deserves it. :D

yeah and good news, after i pay my rent i still got enough to go buy more metal since i get paid tomorrow, and for the first time the trucks not fighting me every step of the way but that may change.

well i did more work to it yesterday, the drivers side is almost done! and i ordered two mufflers this morning and theyre on the way! and since the exhaust is next on the list ive been looking at pipes i can use to go over my axle these flowmaster universal 135 degree bends look good but has anyone here ever used them? im looking at the 3 inch ones since i want 3 inch tail pipes.

looks like they will fit nice. have fun routing all that pipe. If you were close, I have a complete system for headers in 2.5" for a W series I can't use

i have headers and glasspacks now but i want my exhaust system, and ive explained it a million times but here goes again. i have my headers shrunk to 2 1/2 run unde the cab where they expand to 3 inch into my cherry bomb extremes out a 3 inch over the back axle and out at the bed corners. ive done several single systems like this but this will be the first dual and it makes a single sound like a race car. and the cherry bombs were shipped today!
