Very nice work...I looked at a 1971 Demon when I was 15 years old. I got my permit the day I turned 16 drove it home....I thought myself how to sandblast and paint. It was the first and last time I paid someone to mini tub a car.....
Your car is sweet!!!!!
I am doing a 1970 dart for my 13 yearold daughter...she wants me to get a Demon ....she and I think it would be cool if her first car was a Demon

Thank-you! I have 14-16 yr old boys with no interest in cars, must be the mailmans kids  Your lucky to have a kid with interest. I think maybe my 14yr old would be willing to help with my future truck project, since he will be able to drive it, budget build.

It helps wife is a mopar nut as well....my girls might not want to be into cars when they get older but I try to keep them involved as much as possible.
I gave her homework ....that means she pics out the color ..wheels ...scoops.
Has to be 1970 only!!!! Daddy builds it but I can Vito anything I don't want.
She did good.... Plum Crazy purple or hemi orange.... I bought her dual scoops just like her mom 's Duster.
The car had body side moulding ...body Work started.....we went to car show in TN ....she fell in love with bumble bee stripe....
Yep...had to weld up the holes....
BEST PART.....we went to summit racing in Ohio ....I am boring when it comes to wheels....well she said she don't want rally s like mom...
She picked out Mickey t 's 29x12.5 black with dog dish hub caps....she is mine!!!!!!
By letting her design the car...change the car when she wants I can not see how she cannot be into mopars ......
The hardest part of the build is to leave the 6 Banger in it....I want her to take her road test in it...
@15 years old I will let her take it down the 1/8 mile.
My other daughter has an original paint 67 Barracuda from Texas ...
I am not forcing my kids...I am only letting them choose what they want

Thats a fact,,,my kids have other interests they enjoy and I'm happy they do excellent in school. So no complaints, it just seems as a whole kids aren't gung-ho about driving like we were.

My girls can say at anytime ...it's not for me.....but I hope not I want my family some day to take up 4 spots at a car show...
Amen to the good grades

Just realized I never puit up pics with the new wheels/rubber.

I was pretty happy with how they turned out :)

Very nice. I'd like to see a shot from the rear angle.

Thank you gents,

Idaho, I will once imageshack stops giving me grief, dropped a bunch of my pics. Can't even get in my account so far today. Grrr

What size rims are those? Look like 18 or 19 inch? Want to sell your old welds?

Ah thought I'd give it a shot. Wow that's a ton of wheel in the back. I'm debating 18 or 19's. my buddy owns a tire store and he said that I should go with 19's be it that all the new vettes are running 19's and tires are a bit cheaper 305's to 325's. I haven't decided yet.

I was thinking 19s on the rear, but later decided not too, cant remember why. I'm running 345/30 bfg drag radials. Price are pretty good at tirerack. $268 a piece, fronts were $200 each. I thought not bad and look good. If I would have went with non-drag radials that matched the fronts in a 335/18 they would have been a $100 more each.
Even changing to 3.55 gears they still don't hook up great, but it corners nice.

It looks amazing,
But i like the drag race look wheel tire combo better, it makes the car looks more bad ***!

Just my opinion, but it still look good!

Thanks, I liked it too, but to spend all that money on corner carving suspension and make no use of it would have been silly so those rims/tires had to go.

IMO...the 15" Welds looked fine but sort of too "Old School" for a moderized muscle car, The new wheels just look right.

do you have anymore photos you can share? :) would love to see some side shots. interior, trunk...etc :)
that 1st photo you posted of the front/passenger side of the car is awesome! to bad though u cut a bit of it of:p
