Are the heads X heads casted near the spark plugs.

Here's a 340 exhaust manifold sets:

Here's a 318 manifold sets that looks close:

I see what you mean. The right side manifold difference is glaringly obvious. Maybe they are 360 manifolds on the car? I'll have to look at that closer. You guys are awesome - ask a question and you get an instant answer! Thanks!

Well it's all for naught as the deal collapsed and the car is no longer for sale. Guy's wife decided that she liked it too much and wants to keep it for herself.

Sooooo, the search continues ...

I sold mine for $5500. It was no where near that nice, but it also wouldn't have taken more then $6000 more to make it that nice. If you are willing to spend over $10 grand, you will find some nice stuff.

Wouldn't you know it, but the owner called me and told me that the wife decided that she didn't have to have afterall. He wanted to know if I was still interested. Yeah, I am, so I'm going to drive up tomorrow and take a longer, closer look at it again. Standby to standby...

After having the rug pulled out from under you once on the 'Cuda you're probably chomping at the bit to get it now. I still think you should try to get him down a bit on it because it is priced on the high side. Look it over very closely and (without insulting the guy) take note of any flaws or things you'd want to change. Naturally those things will increase the amount of $$ you'll have in it. - Never hurts to try to get your best deal. But either way, you'd still be owning one of the nicer ones around.
