My home made welding cart made from scraps.

I have the same welder and love it! I ordered the 50 ft cord made for it and also built a cart out of scrap. Really helps to be able to move it around since the leads are so short. You are doing a great job.

That's all pretty cool... really. But get back to work on the car! That's the thread I subscribed to! LOL

Cool cart! Only thing I don't like are the air tires, I always have to air those up on my wagon every time I use it.

nearly finished with the welding cart. got just a few more things to wrap up then its off to powder coat.

Young, you really make some of the rest of us look bad, LOL N'ya, that is a compliment!!!!

Only critique I have is "why would you use wood" on a welding cart LOL

because when i beat the top all to hell i can just unbolt it and slap a new one on.

i would too. it would just cost way too much to ship it back and forth. she does do amazing work though.

Thank you sweetie! :-D Your fab work never ceases to impress me.

Is that American flag a vinyl decal?? If it is, you can embed it right into your powder and it'll stay there forever.

Regular stickers won't survive the heat, but vinyl decals do. Check this out. The first pic is of the partially cured base coat with a Harley gas tank vinyl decal installed, and the second is that same control arm and decal after a top coat of Peeka Blue, a candy translucent.

wow! learn something new everyday. i think i will play it safe and just put the sticker on afterwards. not sure on the color yet but local shop quoted me $125 cash to sand blast and coat it.

Geez, that's almost six hours' labor for me with your FABO discount. I'd think that thing could be done a little quicker than that, but it's tough to gauge the size from the pictures. When I redid Billy's old welding cart it was maybe a 3-hour effort (and that's generous). Too bad we're so far apart ...
