As I said in your other thread. Use the Thermoquad. Thermoquads only flow what the engine demands. If the engine only demands 650, that's all it gets.

Also a possibility. As long as proper torquing sequence is followed and the engine never reaches critical temperatures, the new manifold should be just fine.
How do they do that? Are they rebuildable?
So it turns out it was the intake manifold being cracked underneath. I went and got a new intake and put it on. Fired right up. All 8 cylinders running good and the carburetor can adjust like it should!

? Im confused. Yes it runs very well. THe intake manifold was actually warped very badly. New intake is on and it runs great. Now the hlley is having an issue, so i out thethermoquad on.
After all this, I would like to see and hear this thing run!
