Ripped off

If PayPal was used, the buyer can open a "dispute" and PayPal will put a hold on the sellers account for the amount till it's squared away....if not taken care of in the time given by paypal, the seller is given a refund.

How do you come up with that? It would be my responsibility if I was hand delivering the part my self. But I paid the post office to do that and they failed to do it. There was a third person brought in like most situations and the third person lost the part. I did not lose the part nor did he. The post office lost it and they should front the insurance money.
He has delivered to you!He has nothing to show for his money! You took his money, he has every right to expect you to deliver the part into his hands. However you choose to ship is under"your" responsibility.

Here is pictures of the dash cluster.. Mind you where the busted pieces are there were news papers there as I would not leave empty space under the cluster like that. He obviously took them out to the the picture would be my guess. It appears as though somthing was droped on that end of the box during shipping... And as you keep bringing up the box was to "SHORT" Thats not a issue. Was the tail panel damaged due to it? NO it was not. You stated the tail panel looked perfectly fine. If no one wants to go for the insurance money then what is the point in getting it?

If I paid you to deliver the part and you did not do it who is to blame? I did my part of giving the item to the guy to deliver it I also paid that guy to deliver it. I did my end of the stick in getting the part on its way to you... The issue is the person that was hired did not hold up their end of the stick. That being said the claim needs filed... If he will come to a agreement to help with the claim (I would like to try and find the part first..) Then I will start the claim.

I do not want this to continue on as this is a pissing match and is very chidish. It is childish he came to this before calming down and speaking with me in a manner with a open mind to getting things settled. As I stated before I would like to get things settled but there is a process to doing it and I will need his help along the way. It may not be needed at first but in the middle or end it may.

I don't know !! lol did he get the part, or not. who know's
did he wrap the part who knows
did he ship the part who knows
all I know, I'm glad these 2 guys don't run in my circle.
alot of bull for a measly 65 bucks.

i would have already sent the guy his FIRETRUCKING money back.

for Christ sakes dude , give the people their money back its the right thing to do !

now the kid is calling me a liar, as I stated earlier box would not have made it 3 miles, no I DID NOT TAKE ANY THING OUT OF THE BOX! pic of the silver tape on the end is where the box would not close so you bent the cardboard out and over the tail panel. I cut the box open to get to the part instead of sliding it in from one end as you did. radio bezel was probably busted before box was even shut. now your calling me a liar for all to see wtf

perhaps this may be of some help(or not)...

lol

my kids gerbil could have packed that crap better

everything in your mind says blame someone else make someone else pay, i had insurance,I did my part , he wont cooperate . you took my money and claim zero responsibility.and now you are calling me a liar, wow

I have had enough of the childish bull ****. Both guys denied the insurance money not my problem I offered them both help and both denied it. My problem was to get it off the car and boxed up and delivered to the post office and pay THE POST OFFICE to deliver the item. obviously in this case the item did not make it. That Is the post offices fault. Also the broken item was busted during shipping. You don't know how long it would have made it. Don't call me a liar I am the one who boxed it not my fault you did not want to go for the shipping insurance that you requested be bought due to the cluster being fragile.

Judging from the way this went, I know I will not be buying anything from you, period. It is not worth the possibility of the hassle if something should go wrong. Just my opinion.

Obviously no responsibility here!Sure happy I'm not one of these guy's.

I am a little in awe that this kid is letting this go on this long, I sent you 320.00 for the box posted in the pics, you want the tail panel back fine. which is total chicken ****, but seems to be your moteef. you have my e mail for pay pal I have your shipping address give me my 320.00 dollars back on paypall as a gift and I will tape up the same box and ship your **** back to you.and I want it done now, as your word is no good with me. this post is not going to go away untill you do the right thing. nw dart

I agree that I would not buy anything from this seller. He takes no responsibilty for poor packaging.
YOUR THE SELLER, You need to hire a company that does good work. Your credibility has been trashed.
Rod

I'm not taking sides either. But I think you may never sale another part on this site. I figure you may be young. Probably in your 20s. I don't know. But we more experienced in life matters know that ones honor and reputation is based on their word.
If you try to sale parts on here and no one buys them I'll have to say I understand why. You and I mean you have made yourself look bad. I agree with you that this should have never been posted public. But since it was, you have not done the honorable thing. Which is to refund the money.
I personally buy a lot of parts on FABO. I've sold a few. Heck I've even gave some away to help out my fellow Mopar friends just to help a brother out. I hope you guys don't ruin this for the rest of us. I pride myself on my honesty. A man's word in some cases is all he has.

Another thing I've noticed Is 68dodge seems to have taken the high road and stopped responding.

I afraid its time to man up and take this as a learning experience. Send both these guys refunds now. You need to do a better job of packing items you sell. I don't think you will have any buyers in the future if you don't make this right. IMO Bill

All of a sudden I don't have a warm fuzzy feeling about getting my glass.
Time will tell.
