I'm having Joe Sherman build me a 512 stroker for the 67 coronet. Anyone want to take a guess at the dyno numbers we will get.

512 scat assembly
Eddy victor heads 355cfm on bench
Super victor single plane intake
1.6 roller rockers
Comp custom full Hyd roller
-- 242-- 248---590 lift---111 separation
1000 CFM carb
Compression 10:1

Should be on the dyno in a couple weeks. He think 650-700HP

Not sure joe will get me a printout. Ole school. He said 355 at 600 intake.

I will need the whole sheet to do it right. Telling me "355 at 600 lift" means I have to guess everywhere else.

interested in this. same as my build but you have a little less cam. mine is solid roller and fuel inj. tho----bob

It wil ldepend on the heads. The cam is very small for that package so it's going to be a torquey deal... I'd bet it clears the 625 mark. Not sure by how much tho. I don;t think you're looking at 700. The heads can do it - the cam won't. You might as well write off any traction BTW...lol. A good problem to have - but it will be a problem.

i think the HR will be what holds it up. probably be done about 5800-6000. i'll guess around 620

I'd think you'd be in that 650-700 Range, or really really close

My 512 as a comparison for you.......
Comp solid FT lifter 244/252... .520/[email protected] 110LSA
Ported Eddy performers, port matched Indy DP Intake, 1/4 spacer
1.5 Mancini roller rockers
Quickfuel Q950
10.5 to 1 Comp
Dougs 2" 452 Headers

632HP/696TQ

You have a bit more head CFM, better ramps and a decent single plane. Like mentioned, I don't think you'll have too much a problem getting there.

Good luck

Just dynoed and looks like 660HP it is. Only problem is this victor intake won't fit under a stock hood. I talked to 440 source and the said rpm performer will work but I will lose 20HP. At this point I don't want to cut my hood on stock 67 coronet. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Will performer RPM breath well enough for street use?

Put that badass Indy dual plane on it. I bet it won't lose nuthin and probably pick up on the lower end.

Buy a fiberglass hood with scoop , or cut the hood.

I hate giving up horsepower

You only live once

I use the mopar 337 manifold on 3 of my 500" builds. they all made over 700hp. it is a singleplane, and it will fit under the hood.

Ya know, I see why now. That's a boulevard cruiser if I ever saw one...

Have you checked over at FBBO? I bet there's at least one of those fellas with a beefy 440 under a stock hoodline.

What lifters did Joe use? The good Morels? Im betting there is some left with the right lifters.
