Aluminum bumper brackets, a new offering

My primary goal is to make brackets out of 1/8" aluminum or thinner. There has been some interest in 1/4" thick brackets for use with steel bumpers. At some point I will make the 1/4" brackets and offer them. Thanks!
 
Here is a preview of the 70-72 Dart rear brackets in 1/8". I had hoped that this sample would be good to go but it is slightly off. Im gonna test fit it on a car tonight.

A few people in this thread have asked about these brackets for the early a-body cars but you never replied.....(unless I missed it) :happy1:


Whats the word on them? I would love some for the 1966 Vailaint/Barracuda

I do plan on making those. I plan to make all of the early stuff as time permits. Thanks!

Duster stock brackets weigh 9.3 lbs, mine weigh 1.44 lbs. total savings =7.86 lbs.

SWEEET weight savings! Still in for a set of 70-72 duster fronts and 70-72 dart rears for my scamp!!!
 
I'm all about some of these for my 74 duster... still!! Can't wait till you have some

I'm going to test fit several of these brackets this weekend on actual cars to verify fit. Some I have already. Once everything is verified I will start taking orders. I will handle that thru PMs or email. I would prefer that all pre orders thru email be made to [email protected]. thanks
