Ok enough guessing. Perhaps the pics could be better of the parting lines but I always look at the "raw" portions first and that should tell you with some certainty the mfrg. process. See those curved areas where the cheeks transition to the mains, also the throw ledges are.very rounded. Thats classic forging.
The number you ask? 2658278. The point is many "references" are repeated and copied ad-infinitum until it becomes truth. Perhaps these are oddities (ie Mopar in general) and most of the '278 were castngs, who knows?
Fyi - a new guy here maybe (and hello by the way), but 25 years of professional competition engine building has taught me to never stop questioning. LOTS of misinformation out there folks.
