Cool getting right at it! That's quite a haul you got today! Not too often you come across '67 stuff. Good score!

well I found my build sheet. Or whats left of it. And its water damaged so Its all washed out.:banghead:

Sorry dragdak. I went to the farm to pick up the fender and found that it's gone along with a bunch of other sheet metal I had out there. They stole those fenders, a '66 Impala fender & hood, and some other parts.

Damn, drug addicts most probably.
I'm sorry to hear that. I always get torqued off when someone looses their possessions due to another person helping them selves to it. pisses me off. :( :wack::protest::protest::protest:

That sucks! Had my shop broken into about 20 yrs ago and I still know how it feels. We knew who did it but couldnt prove it. Must be druggies.

Got a little more done today. New quarters came and cut out some rust and started the patching process. Not worried about aperance in the spots you wont see just a good solid repair.

Looking like your digging in up to your sholders..

Sure seems like the dirt keeps falling in as fast as I dig it out. LOL! Thought the rockers were salvagable but need to replace them too. Guess I will order them tonight. Had alot of patching to do on the passenger side that is finished now and seam sealed. Now I can trim and punch my spot weld holes in the pass quarter and get it installed today. Also cleaned up the window mechanism and lubed it. Also remove the last of the old quarter panel from the door jamb and cleaned it up. This like the rest of the patches Ive done will be weld thru primed before new quarter goes on.
Looks like drivers side needs both the outer wheel well and trunk extension. Another order. #-o

Wow again! You are really tearing into this baby. I can see not much will detour you from your plan! Lookin' good. Keep the pics coming.

Very comited to finishing this thing. Now before I make another mistake, does anyone out there have an opinion on where is the best places to get the repair panels I need?
Im in the process of welding the pass. quarter on now. I will post pics soon.

I'm a member of the Dodgecharger.com forum. We've bought a lot of discounted AMD sheet metal from links on their site. I've heard that FABO member elitecustombody is supposed to be able to hook guys up with really good deals too. You could send him a pm and find out.

Thanks! Im checking that out forsure! I have my wifes 1966 charger to do next. I wish they made more sheet metal for those cars.

Please hang in there with me on my camera skills. It may look like Im working in a cave with a flashlight but actualy it is really bright in the shop. Better pics coming soon.
When I weld any panels on I overlap the panels then make one cut with a wheel on a grinder thru both panels. I cut about 12 inches then peel the bottom panel down and the top panel up. Then tack it every 2 inches. Then repeat. When done, leap frog the spot welds from one direction trying to stay about 4 inches from the last. Hope the pics help.

Well, I have the top, door jamb, and part of the taillight area welded up and ground. Having a problem with the bottom of the quarter lining up with the rocker panel. Wants to bow out about 1/2 inch. May need to relieve and weld it. That will be done when I get the new rocker installed.
