OK, I decided to go with the Schumacher tri-y headers for my 383 4spd cuda. They fit great ! Now my only problem is that the z bar hits the header. It doesn't hit by much. I am hoping to put a slice in the header a couple of inches from the collector to move it down away from z bar. Anyone else out there have or had the same problem ? I do not want to go with hydraulic. Any thoughts ?

Yes.
There has been a detailed thread on here with lots of pictures and information a few years back. I'm not sure if it's in the exhaust section or in this section.
Do a search and you should find it.

Mike at Schumacher has Tom from Accurate exhaust do the mods to the driver's side. They cut and move the pipes down and under the Z-bar. Pretty sure the cost is $150 or so. Worth it though. :burnout:
