Because the NFL commish was being an ***,and forced Brady and his lawyers to take it that far..if i was Brady i'd sue the NFL for defamation of character.
maybe the NFL needs to do a better job of making sure equipment meets their requirements and rules????

I just believe that a federal judge has more important cases then dealing with the air pressure a football and worrying about weather or not an extreamly over paid athlete will get to play in a game.
I'm not going to argue about this but that is my personal opinion.

I think Brady should've accepted the four game suspension for the first four games of the season and got it done and overwith. The team would have had enough of the season left to make up any lost ground.
Now....if the league appeals and wins, that decision could come in the middle-to-later part of the season and Brady would end up missing four games that could very possibly have major playoff implications....and there wouldn't be enough of the season left to make up any potential losses.

the final score was like 46 to 7....do you think a football under deflated 1 or 2 psi made a difference....plus the second half was played with the properly inflated balls...and NE out scored the colts 28 -0....His stats in the second half were better then the 1st half...

Goodells track record blows. Last 4 suspensions have been overturned. All the quarterbacks do it. Goodell and his guy in charge of legal stuff should be canned. Its a win win Brady plays amd NFL cashes in.
