"i bought a new guitar, and...

I'm at work with no way to record anything and, that would be weird wouldn't it? lol
But I did upload some pickin a few years ago for the purpose of demonstrating some pickups I installed in a home project and comparing two speakers against each other. Point being, this wasn't to showcase my game. But it's all I have uploaded so, here ya go.

Sounds great, my kid loved it.
More, more don't stop now.

haha...well as I said, was just trying to demo gear. I wound up changing the pickups in that UC-2 demo. First part of that sound clip sounded too thin for my liking.

heres a..more....

the pearl white looks much more interesting in person. Cameras just don't grab it....

Am I the only one around here with guitars? C'mon people...I've seen all mine already!

This is all my kid has, we only have about $700 in all of them.

84 Ibenez $0 bought it and a new Fender P-bass with amp, (fender starter kit) off a friend that needed money bad for $150, we sold the Fender and amp for $150, so free.

80's? Yamaha on loan from a friend of mine, had to put about $90 in it to fix it. I bet he ends up giving it to my boy.

2014 Goden session, I got him new last Christmas $600

Very nice! I like deals like that. I got a very old Hondo guitar and an interesting asia-market amp for $60. Really just wanted the amp, thought I'd sell the Hondo in short order. Wound up keeping both for almost 5 years but did finally sell for $155. That money got gobbled up by the cuda, though.

I just realized how many guitars I have that I don't have pics of. :(

My floral strat, black UltraV, "VW" garagemaster, Jaguar Special, and my home-brew flying V with wenge neck.

Guitars are easier to store than cars.

I have 8 vehicles that run and drive with insurance on them.
Why me and the wife need four 4x4's is beyond me but they keep appearing.
And four semi - fast cars to play with???????

We only drive about 1/2 of them on a regular basis, I really need to thin the herd out, but I like them all.

guitars need a lot less maintenance, too although, they are easier to drop.

So true, with vehicles it is always something, battery, oil change, inspection, license etc.
If I don't drive one for a while I walk around it to make sure it is still legal, which reminds me our main winter jeep needs a annual inspection before the end of the month.

But, imagine how silly you'd look running down the freeway on foot bangin' away on an unplugged electric.

I'm not sure how to post YouTube links ?
But if you go to YouTube look up
mrjimmymcadams one word all lower case there is a couple clips of me playing and one of my
72 cuda .
Check it out One is a clip of my original song the other is just some shredding .
Let me know what you guys think ?
Jim

good stuff, Jimmy! (he likes the pinch harmonics) and that '72 is just beautiful. Man, I can't wait to drive mine around all nice and DONE.

Thanks !!
I'm a huge George Lynch fan .
The Cida runs real well , the heads were ported by IQ52 .
He and his son do the best porting !!

Just found this video on my ext. hard drive I recorded when I was selling the Hondo. Not sure how I boogered up the focus but, didn't really care. Good for preserving anonymity. Playing through my Crate Stealth GT-50, more pointless shredding.

Jimmy, you ever try one of those Vox Amplugs? Super cool devices that enable you to play, plugged in, pretty much anywhere. I keep two of 'em with me at work. One is an 80s metal lead tone and the other is an AC30 sim. All analog, very authentic. And since I have no interest in buying an actual AC30, I figure Vox's take on their own amp is good enough for me. I got that one used for $15. Check 'em out. I used to haul around a Boss pedal board for headphone jamming but, not any more.

I will check em out ! Sounds cool !!

I have a 5 watt vox practice amp that will take batteries that I really like for practice !
I'm so darn lazy I don't hardly practice at all .

Mopar cars n guitars, a nice marriage. I have an original 83 strat elite that is prisitine. Wish i could find a good buyer that would appreciate a real american strat

The Strat I'm playing Voodoo Child on (video page 1) is a cheap Japanese Strat I bought for $150 in the 80's. ..it was brand new but had been dropped in the store and they were gonna send it back to Fender......

It was my first Strat. ....I love that POS!
She's "Betty" !

Japan strats are very nice !
I would stack them against most American strats !
Some are even better imho .
