I have a few pair still, I will bring a pair to Carlisle for ya! They always were issuing them to us in the hot sunny areas. Frames used to burn you though so we mostly wore Wiley X's

They are calling for a 102 degree day tomorrow here on the hill :wtf:
My gears came in last night Hops, I hope to get them checked for fit tonight.

I could help you drive it back! And we could stop at karls and burn the tires up in front of his neighbors also!

So you need to get it in Gear Today Huh ??

Take pics for that thread, I posted bearing numbers yesterday finally. I actually learned that there were no sbp axels always thought I had a set, they were 7.25 in the pile! LOL Hey housing number also.

Saw That.. Never imagined... They couldn't give em away back in 70. In fact , many were De-Superbirded, to make them saleable.

Ours was a lot lizzard...

It sat on the dealership lot until the summer of 1971 before the original owner bought it....

There was a story back in the day about a school teacher who had a Superbird/Daytona and had the wing removed because the kids kept playing on it....

Another story with someone who bought one without a wing, then put an ad looking for a wing. Either the car was in Colorado and the wing came from the east coast (Maryland, I think) or vice-versa, but when the wing came - it happened to be the original one from that very car!!!! It matched perfectly to the original car and paint.... What are the odds of finding the original part from your car half way across the country - and that was before the internet????

I most definitely need to get my *** into gear. It's 2pm here and I haven't really done squat so far.

Later, gang.

Seems like there is confusion on these rears on the FBBO site also. Still think it is the best bang for the buck.
