Your build sounds great and the et you are chasing sounds very realistic and I would not be at all suprised if it does a tick better than that as well. Good luck.

thanks I'm also losing weight on the car
not real sure where it will come in at hoping for 3100ish

I'm impressed at how far you've come. Terrific platform. BTW if you stop building now you can beat your weight goal!!

Killer looking ride! motor build sounds even more impressive and nasty!! Im running a 360 but wsy milder than that. plan to pit the 284/484 purple cam and a strip dominator! also going from 3.55 to 3.91's. will see how this does!

People hate the old mopar cams But my old 360 with 340 x heads and 4.10 gears went 11.90s And was super fun on the street Still have that pig in the corner of my shop. Looking for a Dakota To put it in.

Yeah many bash purple cams as old news. But they run & sound sweet. Unfortunately the prices have gone up on mopar cams! Also worth considering are racer brown cams. Seem to be still affordable.:steering:

The Dart Sports are my favorite.
Cudos to you for building one, your combo sounds pretty sweet.
I think the car would look better if you raised the back end about 2 or 3 more inches.
Then it would look like the old Super Stocks, i love the old school look.
Other than that, you're right on track!

Not a big fan of a big gap between the tires and fender Even tho I seen a few that look pretty sweet.

Your stance is perfect! i got mine similiar back height. Also this ride height gives car better stability verses being jacked up high. I think cars look meaner lower in rear!

The stance looks great. I think the cars that are jacked up in the back look horrible.

I don't see any reason the combo won't run 6.70's. That should be a very stout setup. Don't raise the rear. It looks really good as is. And if you're interested in a 727 trans and 5500 stall converter (not a cheapo), I'm selling mine soon.

Little further
Minitubs , both quarters , relocated spring are done just need final welding
Cage is next
