Wondering what the largest rotor's / brakes I can get on my 69 dart. I have 17 inch wheels with the BBP. I have Wilwood on there now, but I'm hoping to do better/bigger. Thanks.
Out of stock....A 13” rotor is about as big as you’ll be able to go, and depending on the kit/calipers there may still be some 17” rims that don’t fit.
I have doctordiff’s 13” brake kit with the “cobra style” calipers, it works with a 17” rim. I use a spare tire from a G35 that is a 17”, fits fine.

The Brembo 13” kit is, the cobra style 13” kit shows in stock on the website.
Usually worth calling him if something is out of stock too, Cass can usually tell you what the timeline is if something isn’t in stock at the moment.
Those calipers are pretty big. I tried them with some Mustang Billet wheels and they rubbed the inside of the wheel.
The Brembo’s? Yeah they’re pretty big. I wouldn’t be surprised if the options available to fit a 17” wheel with those would be pretty limited.
The cobra style calipers are smaller. I’m sure not every 17” wheel will work, but there should be some good options. If they clear the narrow little G35 spare I’ve got they should clear a lot of stuff.
The Brembo-like calipers are physically big, but if you look at the actual contact patch, it's not that large. With a low enough profile caliper, the general rule of thumb is to take the wheel diameter (17") and subtract it by 4" and that's the largest rotor you could possibly get away with (13" in this case). But it all depends on the wheels too. I have a friend with 14" rotors and Mercedes 8 piston Brembos on a forged 2 piece wheel. It's tight, but it all fits. He made his own caliper brackets.
I'd think any OE wheel would be questionable as thy want a high reliability and low cost (meaning thicker/heavier wheels). But if you got an Enkei, or a wheel that tries to stay on the lighter side or racing applications, you may be able to get away with it more easily.

Got one box today from DR. DIFF. No rotors or calipers yet...
Thanks, question, does this brake setup increase the front width/track? looks like it will, which is bad for me....The rotors might take an extra day or two (mine did). They're drop shipped from the shop that does them. They're corvette rotors that have the pattern re-drilled.

You have any idea how much the Will wood ads? That is what is on there now and I had to go down several tire sizes to get clearance. It does, it adds about 3/16” to each side compared to a 73+ Mopar disk set up.
How much backspace you think will fit with these brakes. On my 69 Dart....4 inch now,It does, it adds about 3/16” to each side compared to a 73+ Mopar disk set up.
