Not mine (I wouldn't ever do such a thing), just come across it on kijiji $8500 !!!!! OMG!

1971 dart swinger 4x4 | Classic Cars | Markham / York Region | Kijiji

See,.... I agree with Cope! I kind of like it. The only thing I don't like about people doing those kinds of things is how they just set them on a 4X4 frame so it always looks like an afterthought. Meaning you can see the original frame rails and the 4x4 chassis frame rails. I think it would be cooler if they got rid of one of the frame rails and incorporated it into the other.

I will say that I like how the 4x4 wheelbase fits the Dart wheel base. Kind of cool! Don't get me wrong,.... I'd still rather have the standard 71 dart, but I think it looks pretty cool

I think it's bad ***!!! I'm at the point where I enjoy people's ingenuity and creativity. I get bored of seeing the same cars over and over again. Small block dart swinger...yawn. Pro touring, turbo slant's and V8's, big blocks, 4x4 dart swinger, now you got my attention!!!

I agree looks like crap
They should at least have reworked the wheel arches so the front matches the back...now it just looks like a frankencar

I’d run it.
Took 2 piles of junk and made a kickass toy!
I do agree fit and finish stiil needs a lot of finessing but the concept is good.

someone had a drivetrain and someone had a body, better than sitting in a field.

They only needed a third person with a plan.
Or they just have a lot of snow to plow through everyday...
But the mudneck-mod stuff appears to be easily returned to stock when winter is over if desired.

folks are always complaining that young kids aren't involved in muscle cars and more into metric tinder boxes with big canned mufflers.....at least they aren't eating tide pods, maybe just brownies from dad's stash.

A buddy of mine had the same thing done to an early 70's El Camino. This was back in the mid 80's. Done well and suited the car actually.

He sure sign of being bored out of your mind!

Although I'd never do it myself, I think it is pretty cool. I agree that it took a lot of hard work and ingenuity to pull it off. It looks like it would be fun to drive.

Now that is a hybrid. Grandma's grocery getter crossbred with a K10?

I grew up with lifted El Co's
They were cool back then and are still cool.

Way better than a lifted K5......

I got red in my blood and lots more in my neck....

How are you supposed to climb in and out with it that high off the ground and no side steps????
