okay guys...biggest pet peeve at car shows

-
I have one. I have / Had a original numbers 66 Hemi charger. Fully restored, maybe not a 100 point resto, was not the idea of doing the resto. NEVER a mention of any interest in the car. Sold the car, somehow my Brother wound up with it!! Always the same blue 69 RR getting all the interest.

They way they treated your Charger was just wrong.

OK, it was a 69 RR, so I'll allow it.:)
But no other car.

The best car show around me is Hot Alma Nights. No judging, no trophies, lots of food, and a dance. 10 bucks that goes to a charity. 400 to 500 cars u wont see at most car shows. Can drink a beer and walk around. Good times.
More information please.

I guess I'm too easy going, I like pretty much everything about going to a car show. If I had to choose anything it would be intolerant people at car shows

My biggest peeve is to many modern cars in it, not enough classic real cars. Yes they make more power then the older version but never the same cool factor.

My pet peeve is the person who has to know how much you paid for your car! Poor form and rude question in my opinion.

The local cruise nights I usually goes to has the newer cars separated from the older cars.

ooh...just remembered another pet peave.
I work 2 jobs, have 5yr old twins, and a wife that works...Shows on the weekend should be 3hrs maybe 4 tops...not all dang day!

Nella and I took her car to the Great Pumpkin car show a couple years ago. Yes, it's for charity! She likes to put in the comment section of her window slip..." I'm a girl, I'm 17(at the time), and I own a Cuda". She won the participant trophy for the Young Guns catagory, and she didn't even enter!! People love to see young folks who have an interest in cars. When we go to the big Make-a-Wish show, there's a nice young man in a wheelchair who owns a 65 Mustang. He circles his car all day long, cleaning and polishing it, and talking to the 100's of people who stop to admire him and the car. He's very proud of the car, and rightly so, it's a beautiful car!

My kids both love cars, and I like to instill and nurture that. Here's a pic of them in the GTX, they both got to drive it that day, and they both helped to wash it so they could look as cool as possible!!

My other peeve is when someone asks what motor is that and I say 340 , and they walk away and you can hear them say that's a 318 that's not a 340 . If you know so much why did you ask :BangHead:

OK 7 pages of why I NEVER have ever taken a car to a show!!!! I am considering going to the one up the road in April, and see if I can do this whole list of crappy things while there though!!!!!! lol

Pet peeves...... LOL. Anytime you open up a complaint department, there will be no parking and the "take a number" will already be over 100 by the end of the first hour.
I actually found this humorous, and laughed while posting my stupid inputs :D

I put my sisters business card over my vin on the dash. It's none of their business what my vin is. I own it. Nuff said!
