Stop in for a cup of coffee

It was a good weekend... got some stuff planted in the garden, finished prepping the rest of the beds so they are ready to plant, did some weed eating, put up a little blow up pool (just a 10 footer), went to the first of my great nieces graduations then BBQ after that.
 
Thats good,at least i wont be talking to myself....
Nice clear morning,11 degrees warmer than yesterday morning.
 
Today is a stat holiday up here,so everybody’s got a day off.
The wife took some vacation days this week,and is already bugging me for things to do.
Cut grass?
Nope
Clean windows?
Nope
Clean up flowerbeds?
Nope
Clean my office?
Nope
It goes on.somehow i have to be involved....
 
hahahhah... start making her a list????

Clean closets
Rearrange cabinets
Shampoo carpets
Powerwash decks/porches/sidewalks
Wash curtains/drapes
 
Morning all....another busy day. Its been like this for a couple weeks now. It needs to slow down a little.
Rained off and on all weekend, but looks like it has moved out of the area. We needed the rain, but glad its gone.

You ARE up early. I had a shift once, started at 5AM. The only good thing was that I was off at 1pm.

Good morning Barb, I wish I could say I got allot dun here, but a friend was clearing some property at his moms house and I stayed with them most of the day Sat, drove the tractor and burned a big brush pile down, then it started raining Sunday and it has not stopped

I don't usually work on Mondays... but that is subject to change on a weekly basis if someone calls off. And I may be working some Saturdays this summer. Time will tell.

I do 4 10's, am usually off Mondays but may go in and work overtime today, will see what co-worker is up to.
 
Hey folks!

Good to see you gathering. My monday was pretty weird. I start at 11 and today was teacher's conference/planning in the afternoon so I got htere at eleven, had lunch and talked a bit with my colleagues, showed the video of my test drive, had an ice cream cone and a cup of coffee and rode my bike back home. :)
 
I go pick up the 55 Chevy today. Some of you might of seen my post last week explaining the restoration shop has shut down. Lucky for me he was able to finish my car. Many of the 52 cars at the shop weren't so lucky. The main reason he's closing is that his work force had dropped to two, and finding qualified experienced people who want to work has become difficult. Last week he had one go in for surgery and two quit because they were going to start working a little OT to catch up.

Hopefully he can regroup in a couple months and open a smaller place. He has SO much talent, over 200 National awards. Today, I'll be happy, but somewhat sad for him and his wife when I pick up the car.
