Stop in for a cup of coffee

Agreed! I grew up on a farm and although the hog houses weren't the best smelling places, it's production agriculture and the farmers do have rights too. I saw this morning on the news that only 2% of the US population are production farmers. They produce food for 98% of us. They have to do what is necessary to be successful.
yeah and over half the US farm production actually gets sold overseas. Which is why I laugh about this whole trade war crap. The US supplies 60% of the world's food supply, not counting our fish and seafood. the number one importers of our produce... the very 4 countries trying to do this trade war. China, Mexico, Canada and the EU. Combined, their ag sectors cannot produce enough food for the people in each of their own countries, let alone try to help anyone else. So this whole trade war will be won by the Trump administration. He literally could starve those countries out. it's the same exact reason there will never be a war between China and the US.

So, how are they claiming that it impacts them?
their argument was the smell if the wind was just right(which even then, I highly doubt) was negatively affecting their property values.

It was too wet to spray a few crops, farmer hired a spray plane.
Newcomers in the area all whiny about the plane and the chemicals.
Their property borders farmland, what the hell did they expect?
Too many people think food COMES FROM a grocery store. So wait... you mean Mcdonalds KILLS cows?

I don't like the smells but I do like my ribs!

Cattle aren't bad. Hogs aren't too bad unless confined with pits under the units. Poultry has a high ammonia smell. There again, not bad unless confined.
The ammonia refrigeration plant I worked at for years was next to chicken coups. They were eventually torn down for other development. But the smell was a minor issue. It was the flies that were a problem.

damn... my friend's gun store just got broken into overnight :BangHead::BangHead:

Well, it may be coolER, but it ain't cool out there. More the humdidity than the temp though. Sweatin my arse off in the garage, just trying to see what parts I will take to Carlisle. I
really underestimated how much I have and am not likely to ever need. Could have filled the Magnum. Will have to pick and choose what fits in the Duster trunk.
