Back about a year ago a member @Ddaddy sent me a PM asking would I be interested in a pair of bucket seats for my 66 Sedan build (Victoria) and sent me a couple pictures of them, I told him I would love to own them, but was not in the position to buy them, he asked me to give him an offer, after two weeks rolled by as I never gave him an offer, I told him he should put them up for sale, he never did.
I ended up sending him another PM saying I could not even come close to making an offer, these seats are a one year only seats (1966 A body) so you understand these are well worth 500 buck at the least, so as the week went by I get a PM from him saying he would take payments as I could afford to send  !! I was then thinking what I should offer him :)
Well another PM arrived 5 minutes after and he shot me a price, let's just say it was a give me price and there was no shipping because a member was going to deliver them to me in a couple months (this was back in April I believe) .
So just last week @Mopar Tim drove threw my town here in northeast Arkansas and we met at my fave spot for Pizza and beer (Shot of top shelf Tequila) and enjoyed out visit.
Thank you Tim . I hope my tip filled one of your tanks and your belly was satisfied.

This site and all the great members have been very nice to me in the many years I have been here, let's go as far and say they have spoilt me rotten

Thank you Ddaddy  this man on the hill is tickled and humbled to own these great seats from 1966, I think Victoria is a great fit for them :thankyou:

The first two pictures are the one's that Ddaddy sent me to see them for the first time.
Last two are of what is going on this week, pre fit headers and (fit great) pulled 360 and getting it ready for pain under the hood, fire wall and inner fenders.

Thank you FABO for all the great memories, your Arkansas friend on the hill Memike

Did they just happen to be the right color?
Those back and side hard pieces were also used in B bodies.
(Chargers)
Well, not those same exact size pieces maybe, but the same type.
Chrome trim as well.

Does this mean you won't be able to cuddle with the lady next to you anymore?
Bench seats have advantages.
Just saying.

I do agree on the cuddle part, and I did enjoy my bench seat for 7 years on the road. now there will be an automatic shifter in the floor and so happy to not be using a clutch (904 heavy stack)

Those look real nice in there Mike. Now that I have 2 different Mopars I find my bucket seat 66 is far more comfortable than the bench seat 70, especially on long trips. It was pretty cool how the delivery worked out and that Tim got to meet another great FABO member.

Thank you Mike, it was a great visit, he is a fun member for sure
Ddaddy set me up :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Nice work folks! Those seats were meant to be obviously.
They sure look right at home :thankyou: I hope to make all the members that jumped in and bought this car for me proud, some may not like my direction, but it will be best in the long run as I drive farther out away to meat more members

You may not know it but, those seats were included in the 1966 Dart deal I sold to DDaddy. Just in case he wanted to switch back to stock. I never thought I would see them again, let alone drive them a thousand miles to there new home. Small world.

Awesome story involving 3 great members!! Those seats look perfect in Victoria. Congrats

The members here are what make FABO special...

Glad to have helped you Mike. And extra credit for Tim who not only delivered them to you, he hunted at Carlisle and found the missing passenger side rail mount to make the set complete!

They look perfect in your car too!

Arguably their overall best album.

And it would not be a complete thread without this.
Hope the bucket seats get the kinks out of your back.

Wow !! I have not heard that Victoria song in a long time, and I bet it was you that posted it for me years ago thank you

So, once it's done, it should be no big deal to head on up to Farmington and tear it up with all us Minnesota fools, right? :poke: The seats look great!

Yep !! That's the plan for sure  and thank you, got to get up there and see you all again

I want to say I am so happy setting in the drivers seat, it is in and and it looks great @Ddaddy .
I made my last payment on them this weekend :thankyou: yes, if anyone did not know it Ddaddy let me make payments so I would not have to sell something to have them.
To set the story straight I paid him half of what he could have got out of them :thankyou::thankyou: Thank you all here

Ddaddy is an awesome member for sure! And a hell of a good artist as well!

Great deal, and they look right at home. Even the colors match like they were made for it. Those buckets are actually a 2 year only deal. 66-67. Only difference between the 2 years was the floor tracks. I got a set of these for my 67 barracuda as well.
