09 Ram gets lower ball joints.
A/c is still on in shop. Was nice in there today.

It’s probably a bit of both. She’s a good kid and most of my immediate family have been educators. I have taught many classes as well. Teaching is an art that I have learned from family and doing it on my own.

But, like always, the kid has to want to be taught or it’s nearly an impossible task.

My daughter is a lot like me in that she seeks knowledge and embraces anyone willing to teach her.

Its so hard to keep my cool.i do, but to see such careless disregard just sends me.
I get over it but it stresses me out.
I keep it going 100% out of my pocket,beg her to try a little harder but i think i have to give up.

Some people can’t be taught...until they are ready.

Until then, just make it clear that you are ready...whenever she is...but on your terms.

Sometimes the baby bird needs to feel the fear of being eaten by the predators before they realize they need more skills than they have.

Other times, they just become prey...having learned nothing.

And all we can do is watch.
 
Maybe I should not have boasted this morning about my little Toyota, because it did not get fixed today, wrong wheel bearings sent, twice! As it got later I knew something had to be up, spent most of the time at the library, reading up on the Civil War. Even back then, there were "pundits" like we have today, misleading people what it really was about, and printing stories that weren't true. Anyway, it's good to gain a better understanding about it, especially living here, where the first shots were fired.
I had to figure out how to get home...my insurance agent's office is right there, I figured they could help me call a taxi (all my friends were at work, and my neighbors are all so old.) Well there are no taxis anymore and Uber is difficult to get out here. But the agent's husband drives for Uber so she called him, nice guy and he took me home "off the clock" for a little cash. People are helpful here. Keep your fingers crossed the little car will be back on the road tomorrow.

I don't envy you guys, parenting is tough. My best friend has 3 kids, they give him all kinds of trouble and make some heartbreaking bad choices.
 
Time to call it a night, I guess, do a little more reading, right now about the heavy burden that fell on the women, during the war, it's pretty incredible all they had to do.
 
Well I'm done for the day to. Dinner didn't agree so waiting to see when the antacid kicks in and maybe I can go to bed.
Tonight I got the kick panels primered. I did four coats and taking my time to wet sanding between each coat. Amazing how good they look.
I'll paint them up tomorrow and let them set for the weekend before I put them on.
 
This is really getting old, last time I was in this much rain was in Hawaii, three months straight! We were evolving gills!

Yeah what it is is Mother Nature has to pee somewhere but hates CA so much , she holds it till the east coast :rofl:

Speaking of which. Was just watching the news, cnn coverage of the fire. They showed a image of a broken truck. Said the axle broke and a sparks from the road caused that big fire. That's insane
