@toolmanmike do you know of any companies making metal hole punches for sheet metal?
Rat rod tow truck. There’s an old IHC around here on a blazer chassis. Has a wrecker on it. The cab is a local piece, its cool.
There are hole punch kits used in the aircraft industry, i guess it depends on what size you need and what type of metal.

I left here early this morning to run some errands, Fuel, Food, Post Office Etc..... But my first stop was at a customers house...His Toyota wouldn't start. So I grabbed my jump box and my batt/alt tester, and stopped there first, since he needed to go to work. I was there approx 3 minutes, and had him going. He asked how much ?? I say ahh nothing, I was going out anyhow. Then he hands me this, and says, Have a NICE Day !!!

I use hole saws. Or plasma torch.
3/16” is a big push for a punch.
A drill bit would work for holes that small.
Same guy, gives me a Christmas card every year with a $100 certificate for Cigars.... Downside....He is the guy with 2 Volvo's ...Each have 280k ...LOL

Get a step drill bit...I use em a lot. Pretty durable, if you buy a decent one...

Not my favorite cars to do bodywork on either. Boron alloy steel in some places. They should call the stuff nodrillium.
