Evening guys. I managed to get my steering column back together before class. Love that. Class was rough....kids just dont practice at all...at anything.. grrrrrr
 
Anyone have spare linkage from the steering column arm to the trans pivot and down to the shift arm they want to sell? Column shift.

Yeah yeah. I quadrupled mine in 2.5 years but then again, it’s easy to quadruple when you start in the basement after a long layoff
 
Temp dropped 5 degrees in 2 hours. -26. Morning is going to be cold.
 
Just a freaky thing, that 1964 cookbook I got today, has a recipe my step-dad's mother contributed, for baked crabmeat. Nice lady, grew up without electricity, married well, I remember her Christmas gifts were much nicer than what I was used to, gift-wrapped fancy like department stores would do. My Mom is going to be very surprised, they were close.
 
This week really sucks! Sitting here waiting for a tow truck and wife to pick me up. Some numbnuts just slid and wiped my whole drivers side of the magnum from wheel to wheel. Door stuck so had to get out passenger side. Still drivable, but got a chunk of his plastic stuck in the bead of my back tire. So, don't trust it.

My buddy’s daughter got hit this winter,kid had his licence for a couple weeks and blew a stop sign apporoaching the highway. Was really slick,and kid was driving moms brand new suv.Should not have been on the road.

At least you weren't hurt... The car can be fixed or replaced... :steering:
 
Just got home from work..

No time to back read, will try to catch up in the morning... Or afternoon.... Or evening...

Hopefully will wake up early enough to help the younger kid drop his DD off at the exhaust shop to replace one of the pipes, then wiring on his Barracuda...

We have to do it tomorrow or we may not be able to get it done for a while... They are predicting snow to start around 3 PM and end Sat morning/afternoon with 6 - 10 inches of accumulation....


I will have to clear my and the neighbor's drive once or twice before it's all done if we get what they are predicting...

So if you don't hear from me for a day, don't worry, just busy...

You all cover for me with some "That's what she said" while I'm gone.

Sucks about the accident. It sounds like you are ok though, so that is what matters.

Have to go in for a 4 hour meeting, then heading out. Hope it is a great day for everyone. A lot of weather moving in for most of the crew this weekend. Be safe
