oooooooooo yum. 12 year Rye!
It is exceptionally tasty. A buddy and I traded. He is from Omaha. Not sure on the distribution but I can't find it up here. I swapped him some local Microbrew! Pix attached. Proof is a local distillery and the guy is quite accomplished. I will bring some to Mopars in the Park

Sounds good. I usually bring a cooler full of home brew. Would love to have a sip with you.

My happy plan is to bring the Demon, blind crippled or crazy paint. Don't care if there is a milk crate for a seat and welding rods on the floor! Just not sure I can get her running by then. I can't show up at the FABO tent with an E body. The coffee boys will vote me off the island!

Oh hell no. In fact some of us sign up for our specific judged groups and cruise over and hang out with the crew before, during, and after the meet and greet. We're there to have fun!

Just got a call from my buddy Ted from down the street. Sounds like he has a couple single malts to try tomorrow afternoon! Score!

We like single malts! Our family is Scottish on all sides, well except for an Otoole but we don't count them! We are heading back come summer as the family still has property in Scotland. Perhaps that is why we get married outside under a full moon in a circle of candles. Doesn't everybody? On plus side, have a great genetic excuse every time I do something dumb. We love the single malts, don't mind a bit of a brawl and we always kiss the wrong girl! Did I mention red heads? Oh yeah we like em! Your sampling group sounds like a blast! Enjoy!

Our clan (family) has both a modern and ancient tartan. Love rocking the kilt!

Ted has been a friend for years and he likes his spirits for sure. He is also in our tasting group. I see there is a sampling of Iowa made Cedar Ridge spirits at a local liquor store Friday night. Ted and I will probably check it out. @Ddaddy hosted a get together a couple years back. I couldn't go so I sent some Cedar Ridge bourbon for the guys to share. Heck, @Ben Drinkin even drove up from Texas.

That sounds very cool. One of our sons married a Hawkeye so we come down to Iowa in summers and we all meet at her parents farm in Sumner Iowa. No idea if that is anywhere close to your part of the state or not tho. Either way I see a shared pint or two come summer!

Sumner is 25 miles north west of here. My 66 came from a small town east of Sumner.

I have been outside blowing snow. I got wet and cold. It's a perfect excuse for a couple fingers of Wild Turkey 101. Warming up nicely now!
