I don’t have my glasses on but are those rocker shaft holes oblonged?
Why yes, yes they are! Except for the bottom right, that one is round and looks new. The funny thing is the one that failed looks like a new one also. I forsee rollers in my very near future.

Yeah or even Crane ductile ones. Which is what I plan to run.

So they failed in slightly different ways.
Well it doesn't seem to be a matter of oiling. Either spring pressures or running out of room...

What do you mean by running out of room?

There seem to be 2 different rockers, most likely original and a few new. My guess would be the builder couldn’t find all the original rockers and had to replace a few.

Was a nice evening out. Saw some people i havent seen in a while. Dinner was excellent. Music was great. All local talent.
They each do 3 tunes and move on. Should do it more often.

Mark,

We can still take a look if you wish, just send them out. Up to you.

Was thinking I’d send the one that crapped out and one of the “new” ones for comparison, considering they seem to be of the same brand and markings.

Sounds good. I will keep an eye out for them. Send tracking when you have it.

'72 D100 short bed weighing in at 3500 lbs. Does that sound right?

My son is looking for a pick up truck... He found a 73 Dodge extended cab for sale that he's going to look at when he gets to NC next week... It looks nice in the pictures...
