Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Took the dog out this morning and I hear this 'buzzing noise' Not deafening, but pretty loud. I'm like :wtf:. So I stop and focus on individual noises and its the combination of ice cracking and falling and mostly just all the dripping on this thin top sheet of ice. I think the snow is settling under it leaving a slight gap and it acts like an amplifier. Kinda like tapping on an empty can vs a full one.

Goood morning. Got rain here. Mountain passes from San Joaquin Valley to LA and points south and east are all jacked up with snow. Glad I'm on the coast :D

Yeah I kinda felt stupid yesterday running the snowblower to get rid of 6 or less inches of powdery snow but now I'm glad I did! I had a feeling this would happen, and just as I was getting done the sleet started. Now we have this 3/8" of ice on top. Today I've been relaxing, listening to the water dripping and watching our driveway dry out while the whole neighborhood's been abuzz with the sounds of motors revving and tires spinning.

So hey: Here's a stumper for Thursday Throw This Damn Thing Out day: This thing was in my car. I presume the guy who painted it left it in there. Nice of him to sandblast and paint it. So, I thought it looked important but I couldn't figure out where to put it on the car. After going through the whole assembly manual and Fisher body manual I decided to look up the part #. Lookee what I found: A Chrysler emblem! There's 2 part #s on it but no luck looking them up - 5274869 and AI101. It kinda looks like the world's flimsiest radius control arm. Anybody got a clue?

Battery tray brace?

Ron
Looks like we got another car guy that moved into the troopers old house. Nice enclosed trailer.

What car? That does not look like a part on a "classic" Mopar.
Aw you know what car Tim. Da Chebby. But I already got a center grille brace, a battery tray support and an emergency drag anchor an' I ain't got no trunk wheel well or package tray brace or shock tower support.
