I'm not rushing you or anything lol I was just curious!! I knew you had swapped headers and some other stuff I was just wondering how much improvement was made. I'm looking forward to seeing some results.

only headers so far...… going to give it a little more gear (not much), home ported heads, and a little more cam to compliment those headers

have you seen where he's trying to call me back out again LOL on Different threads, it's weird? He's got to be joking! Now he wants me to bring my car all the way over to where he lives and trust he'll be there!? Is he mad?

right now I have 2 cams. ones barely bigger (like 10* duration and .030 more lift), and the other is bigger yet. I could buy another too.... never know

way I see it, you both had an agreement. He didn't show, plus walked out cold stone. He owed you nothing, but you owe him nothing either, and that includes walking across the street to say hi

Thing happen in threes my wife sez.
Another friend died. 2 years older than me died on the operating table during a bypass operation.
This is getting old.

Time for some chips.

Wow that is awful I'm sorry for your loss.
I know exactly what you mean about the threes.
My wife's aunt passed in Oct then her grandmother in December now her step dad in april!
Its been alot of heartbreak the last couple months things just keep happening over and over.
 
Hurry quick, throw it back on the truck before it leaves the driveway......LOL All is good I have one on my Dart could not be more pleased with it......
 
Yea I am concerned about that. But I have been told by many that ones tuned properly they are very reliable I'm gonna Dana rebuild it for me and he get the tuning started.
 
That carb almost looks too clean, like somebody rebuilt it, and it did not work properly.

But you'll need to tune it for your car/engine. There is a lot more than just the rear flap door spring…. LOL. Here, i'll throw a short list....
  • rear flap door spring... the obvious one... it's how fast it comes open
  • how far the flap door comes open... yes it's adjustable by the tab and important.
  • metering rods - and the steps at the bottom. tuned with a small allen wrench. very important
  • How far the back barrels come open.... believe it or not, not 100% completely vertical is probably correct.

yeah, and I went to send a pm last night and I got a error. I realized it was full. I emptied most of them out. It might be easier for me to make a video than try and explain while it type... LOL
