I think the car show will be a no go for me. Cooling down a fair bit. The sun never did come out but was supposed too. Took my wife out for lunch and had a nice chicken caesar pita. Only ate half as it was huge. Probably have the rest for supper. My new neighbour owns the place and thought we'd try it out and it was really good.
I like left overs so send them this way. lol

Hope you had a great day with your son. How long is your other son staying before he flies himself home?
He flew home yesterday but works not to far away so is back here eating cherry pie and ice cream at the moment.
You gonna have some turkey for dinner soon? I like wild turkey mostly in soup.

Still no one on dirt yet here. Basically for corn soil temp needs to be at 50 degrees F then you need depending on variety 110 "grow" days. In a nutshell if folks don't get corn in ground within next two weeks or so they will have to switch to alternate crop. Even if they get it in, historical data says yield will be down as a result of late planting. Sorry I went all farmer geek on ya but I am and will always be a farmer!
Same here water puddles and rain almost every day. I have some 80 day corn for times like this.

Now that would be very tasty my friend.
Miss the farm and getting together with the local farmers bringing in all the garden greens and BBQ our own cows and well you know what I mean. Food was better when shared and grown by good friends.
Times sure changed in a few years.

I really miss dad at times and farming brings me back to the days we did it together. We never told each other we loved each but it was understood between us no matter how bad I screwed up or pissed him off.

Yea my boys and I are the same, piss me off and hell to pay but it only took a short time for me to recover and all was normal in a short time. Miss my dad to CF he was the same he thought me a lot and I remember his last words to me and to most it would be disgusting but I had to change his diaper and he told me, After all the years of changing mine it was pay back time.
Would be more than happy to change his pants if he was still alive...

Happy Friday boys , hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend, still 30 deg out and it’s 8:00 that’s 85 American! Was 32 at the peek of the day .

Ok weather up dattte 79 deg in my house 10:07 wtf this is a rain forest , did get the lawn mowed ! Neighbors think I’m nuts mowing the lawn at 9:00 at night but the dew is supposed to act like sav. Gotta keep them guessing :realcrazy:

Oh my favorite pie. You make it or store bought? Either is good but home made is best. YUM YUM.
Have a great weekend with kids.

I miss my dad every day and would give anything to hug him just one more time. He died at 67 so he was robbed from us and his grandkids and great grandkids. He would be 99 if he had survived a heart attack. Cherish your parents if you still have them...once they're gone they're gone.

We had a neighbour that always cut and trimmed at night in the dark. But this guy was a nutbar and a pack rat. Glad he moved.

Morning guys. I landed up going to the car show last night. I stayed for about 1.5 hrs but was starting to really cool down. I think we got a little frost last night by the looks of it. I put all my wife's flowers in the garage just in case of a frost. It wasn't a real big gathering but was still good to see some old friends.

Morning guys nice and sunny today and no frost so the day is looking good.
Store bought pie Mark I never made home made, have to go to my daughters house for that.

Glad you went to the car show Mark old friends are worth seeing even in cold weather.

SOOOOO I went shopping today and did nothing the rest of the day. Can you say lazy....

Hey guys...got a technical problem. Last week I stopped at my buddies place for maybe 45 minutes. Went to start the Cuda and it would roll over but not fire. Usually start on less than half a revolution. He checked it through (he's a Mopar Mechanic old school). He checked the coil and then the #1 plug. When I cranked it while checking the plug it fired up. It ran fine and fine to the car show last night. When I tried to start it no fire. Rolled over great. I replaced the Spark control module and it fired right up as it usually does. I went to start it today and same thing. One thing that's weird is after cranking it and returning the key to the off position it will bump the motor. Any suggestions? Ignition module by the battery?
