I am looking into getting a parking lift, due to limited floor space. I thought I saw (and can not find now) a 6 post lift for 4 cars. A post on each corner and 1 in each middle to lift 2 cars individually with 2 cars underneath.
Any HELP?
Thanks
JB

I worked at a service center that had a different lift in each of 5 bays.
The 4 post with the added pieces over the tracks to lift the wheels off the tracks was my favorite. Do brake work sitting down, then right on up for the oil change, trans service, any job.
I got a couple horror stories about parking one above another though :(
Just make sure no one climbs to the top car after a cell phone or garage door opener left in it. And cover the bottom car with plastic sheeting ! A fluid leak can ruin paint.

They come with or option to them ...drip pans...no doubt a must

Those big metal drip pans are a dumb waste of money. A big sheet of cardboard from an old appliance box works just as well, is more easily moved out of the way, disposable AND free.

well, since my girl is a recycling specialist by day, throwing out oil soaked cardboard isn't an option around here. i have those drip pans and they weren't that expensive. definitely much more environmently friendly.

Mine ususally lasts several months before I replace it if it really needs replacing or not. But then again, I'm only seeing a few drops on it here and there...

I'm kinda blessed with fiber re enforced plastic sheeting. Wife works where they make the covers used over the lumber we see at warehouse stores. I get huge pieces of the scrap that were going to the landfill anyway.
Betcha Lowes or Home Depot would give it away if asked.

Hi
I would like to suggest you to have a look at Harding steels lifts; I had a quite good time using their lifts. You can look out for Garage Parking Lift As you have mentioned your requirement is for a small garage. It’s very important for you to take and consider before buying a lift that it should be in the dimensions suited to your garage.
Hope this helps!!

Wow, their above ground lifts are cool but their in-ground setups are absolutely kick-***! I have seen shows where they feature in-ground car storage but it never gets old. I wish there was an inkling on pricing on their site though.

The lift I have is a double park. I've had the lift up and down thousands of times with no problems. During the winter months I use it for storage. I would defiantly get the drip trays and jack cradle. Don't know if you could use the wheels to move it around or not but it is hard to move it as the car must be on the lift for the wheels to work. In reality you need at least a 10 foot ceiling height to put the car all the way up.
I also have a no name brand lift in my storage garage and it only has a 9 foot ceiling and I have a Daytona (fwd) and my Lebaron convertible under and it barely fits.
