ME too...last time they played each other in the finals is when Bobby Orr flew through the air,was watching it on t.v. will NEVER forget it..GO BRUINS!!!

Full disclaimer, I am not and I mean not a Bs fan. But holy smokes they put on a clinic last night. A textbook thrashing. Well played Bs. They play like that next series and they will be swilling beer from a cup. Like many of the posters on all the different hockey threads I have played hockey for so many years I don't want to admit it. Fat mans beer league is still the best! And skating with Juniors as per previous post is a terrible mind shattering revelation that we are getting old!

Binnington stood on his head last night. Played a great game.
I don't usually complain about the refs, but they sucked big time and cost the bruins the game winning goal which should never happen. There were three blatant bad no calls that should have been penalties to the blues. A hit to the head on Krug, Krug being held badly that led to a very good scoring chance at the end of the second and the slew foot on the game winning goal. Be that as it may, the blues did win and it goes to game six. Go Bruins.

Binnington played very well....key player to the Blues not being swept, IMO.
The refs absolutely ruin the playoffs, always. They need to fire the lot of them and actually get competent people to do the job. Zero consistency in calling what is and what isn't a penalty. One minute they are "letting the players play" and let calls slide, and then the next calling everything.....unannounced to the players that they have switched their calling practices. The officiating is a joke, and especially on an absolutely blatant non call at the end (never-mind the other 2 calls). It is almost obvious how much of a bribe they have taken to look the other way.......ridiculous.

Bruins did not look good at all..Chara should NOT have played you could see he was very hesitant a lot of times..oh well Bruins will have to win the cup here at home..atleast they're not out golfing like the LOSER Leafs!!!
You are correct that the Stanley Cup winner will do it at home...…...But the Blues have the first and likely only shot to do it...lol
