alliedmotorparts.com use to sell them rebuilt and shipped for a good price I would give them a call and tell them you need 302 casting numbers or 714 for swirl port 318 heads

1988 Dodge D100 318 cylinder heads

302,646,714 all the same closed chamber heads for the 318s

No cores, shipped in the states 450.00 for a pair. Might have to click on the out of stock button and put your name on the list for the next run. Should be back in stock soon.

Ya, no body want them here in Hawaii. Everyone going 340, 360 or Hemi. I really dont have a use for the whole block either. Theres a good set of 360 heads on my 273, but i dont think they would be good . So, 318 with 302 casting was the logical choice. Many thanks for the offer but $250 bare heads + shipping .Then the cost of valves , seals, springs etc. Dont sound like it would work for me. Mahalo

If they had a 318 that run as nice as this one you would be hanging on to them.

Probably, but junk yards dont keep em here. No market, Very few 80's or 90's Dodge trucks left here. I have 3 but all 360 blocks. Mahalo, C

302's were on late 80's roller cam 318's in Diplomats and Chrysler 5th Avenues. Most had lock up 904's as well.

360 heads are going to lower your 273 or 318 compression big time...they're open chambers.

Speaking of a lockup A904. How is that in relation to an A500 OD? Is first gear as low as the A500? How much RPM drop do you typically get out of an A904 lockup. I had a FWD 3 speed auto in a Daytona ES 2.5 N/A that had a lockup. I remember once the computer went to closed loop when driving on the highway, it would drop down 200 RPM.

Bunch of M body fifth Aves in my local boneyard. I planned on grabbing a pair of 302 heads when temps cool down and the rattlesnakes go into hibernation. May be able to score em for $50 each if I pull em.

Still $450 a pair of 302 heads without cores isnt bad from rockauto. I mean all the valves, guides, seals, decking, hot tanking done. What would somebody have to pay to have all that done at a machine shop I wonder? May make me rethink breaking my *** at the wrecking yard this fall lol.

Same as a 500 minus overdrive.

Man, did this wanted ad get sidetracked but I fixed it though.

that's y I need a set of CC 318 heads. Don't want 7 to 1 compression want 9 to 1 !
lower 273 block is all rebuilt with .030 pistons and mild cam. Just need Heads and away I Go !!!

63spf is going to start a new wanted thread so we can continue chatting about 302 heads and transmissions on this thread.

The 302's are quite close to the closed chambered 273 heads. The 302's have hardened seats though and the ports do flow a bit more.

450 shipped ready to bolt on. I would change the valve springs to something heavier duty to go with a cam, but that's it. Perfect for a fast build teener.

@lkopaska just put one in his 67 Barracuda. He will know.

A roller cam 318 with 302 heads and a lock up 904 would be hard for me to turn down. I have the block and heads but I scrapped the transmission. :wtf: was I thinking! :BangHead::BangHead:
