Bought a Van......

I have camped many a night in my 77 Ramcharger when I was younger with my wife.
If you take the back seat out, a mattress will slide right in.

That van is in better shape than the 2000's models I see on the road.......

I remember a weekend me and the wife spend in paris, sleeping in my opel kadett (pontiac lemans)
We reclined the front seats and unrolled a matrass across them and the backs, and slept just fine

Question is will this lay down a better time slip then both of your Dusters??..
you better hope not, because that would mean this hoagie would be chasn' your dual quad stroker LOL :D :D

Man, that's in nice shape! Half the stuff usually doesn't work on vehicles like that.
I know you save a lot by not using hotels, but what mpg are you expecting?
Any room for a fridge, stove?

if we plug in, we can use a microwave and such. Generally, just a small cooler is all we need. I have no ideal on gas mileage, but hoping for better than the '77 Ramcharger 4x4 which got 12-13 mpg on our trips.

What ratio rear?
I have a 12 vdc/115vac cooler that comes in handy for road trips.

Got two stories from the older fella... lol. He once said 3.86 and a 2nd time he said 3.68. LOL :D He gave me receipts a inch thick (no kidding) in a folder. I'll go through and find out. He put all new bearings/seals/sure grip/and ring & pinion in the rear axle.

I like the rear door, single full door like the old station wagons, rather than the dual doors. Nice van!
I agree, I like the big rear door also. I'm just waiting for the salt to get washed off the roads so we can drive it. My wife wants to go for a ride.... which means I'll be paying for a meal someplace.. LOL

I'm not too big on breakfast. I like breakfast foods, though. My appetite grows as the day grows... LOL. 1 egg & toast is fine in the A.M. Biscuit & Gravy is great! Or, one waffle, sure.....
