Yes, you can. Finding the right size one might be an issue though. I've pulled fans off old CPU's and glued/screwed them onto the gpu's many times :)
Looks like there are no screws to take it off. Will have to take it apart see if I can get it off and find another. Thanks

That probably has push in plastic pins holding the cover on it. Look on the back side, cut them off with a nipper and pull that cover off.

Don't do that.
Why? If he can get it off and get access to the shaft? should work for a while. I'll tell you this though Guys. NEVER run one with the cover off. Had a power supply blow up on me once. Right next to my ear. Pretty sure it did some hearing damage. I'm a novice at best. Actually been out of it for several years. Sure did waste a lot of money in the early years.

I've been doing this **** for 40 years :)
Power supplies starting on fire, in a data center rack, is a lot more 'fun', lol.
It's a GeForce 630. You can buy those now on Amazon for $30.. prolly not worth messing with. Buy a new card and pitch the old one.

I suppose microsoft is cramming some blue notification down your throat. That's just wrong.

Fred, if you need a newer PC, let me know. Not 'new'.. 3 years old or so. Windows 10 licensed.
Core i5, 16 GB memory, and I can throw in a SSD. Pretty much handle any newer progs or internet stuff.
