How much interest is there in 1960-62 Valiant parts?

Oh, okay.
This man is very sharp in the mind. He used to be an engineer building rockets. He has owned several award winning cars and still owns a '68 Barracuda and a '64 Dart convertible. His mind is as clear as can be.
 
Most of the parts that he is willing to give up have been collected. He is saving stuff that I had hoped to get: '68 Barracuda stuff that would sell for some decent money. Instead, I got 4 1960-62 Valiant doors, 2 hoods, 3 fenders, 2 trunk lids, a few bumpers and a bunch of scrap. Alternators, brake drums, dash frames, slant six intake and exhaust manifolds....Oh, I did get a 2 barrel slant six intake! I got a bunch of power steering pumps, A/C compressors, starters, seat tracks, miscellaneous brackets, bolts and linkage pieces....NONE of it marked! How the heck am I supposed to determine what the stuff fits???
 
He is a very nice man though. I meant no disrespect. I just wish that I knew what some of the smaller parts actually fit.
I did get some dash mounted pull cables for heater/defroster, a full '65 Valiant dash assembly with everything except gauges. Radio, all switches and dash harness is there. I don't know what any of this stuff is worth.
 
Come on Kern Dog, you have been in the hobby long enough to guess what this stuff is worth. It really doesn't matter if the guy just wants to liquidate the parts. Open a sale thread with an item and a price, and a photo and go for it.
 
I have been dealing with 70 and later A body stuff. 68 and later B body too. That stuff is what I am familiar with. These cars are as familiar to me as Citroen or Soviet era Lada models.
If you are trying to politely tell me that I shouldn't post threads like this...well, what is a fair way to determine value of an unfamiliar part when a person can find no history of similar sales?
I know the value of a 8 3/4" axle, a rebuildable 340, Duster fenders, etc....but who here hasn't seen an ad with a price that seems way too high? I don't want to be that guy. A 70-72 Duster door can sell for $300. Is anyone going to pay that for a 61 Valiant door? I rarely see these cars at shows and haven't seen one on the street in a long time.
 
But doors are worth $100, Fenders and hoods as well. Shipping is a ***** there. Heater cables, $20. Complete dash without gauges, $100. you can always come down. You're stuck between a rock and a hard place. You want to help the guy out but it might take a year to sell off all his stuff. Like the guys that sell at swap meets, sometimes they carry fenders and hoods around for years and finally leave them next to the dumpster on the way out.

I agree with Mike here Kern I own a 62' Valiant and sometimes pricing these parts is hard, use the same sense that you would selling ANY A body part, you are smart enough to know that a slant 6 k frame isnt as valuable as a B.B. or Hemi k frame. Again not taking a shot at you or any body shoot some pics add pricing and find out. Thanks for taking the time to look at them for the rest of us even if you decide not to do anything with this. Just remember there WAS a time almost everybody into Mopars looked past A bodies and not AT them.

Okay, thanks for the helpful words. I just hate to over-price something and look like a greedy jerk. At the same time, I don't want to feel like this is a waste of time. I'll get some pictures and post them in some ads.
