VR1 oil on sale.---AMAZON

My last order arrived today. 6 cases are for a friend.

Dangit. They sent me 20-50 and I ordered 1 case of 10-30. So I ordered 3 more cases. Hope they get it right this time. I'll use the 20-50 in my mowers I guess. Too good of a deal to return it.
 
At $2.93/qt I'll run high zinc racing oil in everything I have. It's literally the cheapest 10w-30 on Amazon. I don't know how that is possible but I'll take it.
 
Looks like it's 17.60 today. Price varies a lot for some reason. May have to try some , when I put in a new cam.

some of the mobil 1 racing oils at the bottom get even higher with zddp, like 1700+ levels.

Some good info here vvvvv. VR1 is near the top of the list. The highest ZDDP is not always the best. Engine Oil Testing Results
 
Would this be a good oil for engine break in since it has high levels of zinc?

cool read! Yeah quite a fair assessment that ZDDP isn't all you need to look at. I dont even believe the 10-30 ratings myself, I tend to look at HTHS to get a more true representation of the oil weight. Without going "boutique" oil, Mobil 1 15-50 and a few others do pretty well for me at not a bad price. VR1 seems to be up there as well.
