Yea its gonna be a long 4'ish months... ugh I super excited to see it painted too... I'm thinking of changing the project build name now that we are in body and paint.
I've been sitting on a project name that I've wanted to use for years but nothing fit the bill...

As for the rear-end I hoping its gonna really work well. I think I'm going to need to lower the spring rate to be honest, but I want to wait till the cars is finished and the full weight of the build is hung over the rear.

tsal...

Hotter than blazes here today, 32c, or about 90f, plus humidity, making it feel like 100f. Looking like it will last into next week. I can't bring myself to go into the garage, after being out in the heat all day I'm like CF, dating the A/C, we're getting serious. LOL That and a cold beer or five.

Gonna take some time to get it dialed in right I would guess. One sweet ride for sure and I really would like to see it someday and see how she handles. But for now cheers my friend.

Hey fellas, busy day here was 26 feels like 30 with the humidex , got a job offer today , bigger shop x5 more money , worked at my current job 8years approached my boss said there was an offer on the table ,more money , he said he’ll get back to me ? Should I stay or should I go ......?

better the demon you know

lets see what the boss man says first

how does your job reward loyalty?
i worked at a place where certain bonuses went up by the year, usually by 50 or 100
8 years would bump those up significantly

also, make sure you compare secondary benefits, insurance, PTO retirement plans
just because you see 30 dollar more in your account at the end of the month doesnt mean you made more
(shoot, your a grown man, you know this)

Kinda lonely in the garage I bet with the car gone. Took mine for a ride today but still not done but hopping soon. Trying to budget parts I want but gonna take sometime to get it all the way I want. View attachment 1715565855 So far I'm pretty happy with it but made a few screw ups.
Looks awesome Fred . You did one hell of job . You are very talented my friend !

Ha..

Depends on what your boss can do. If it's fair and you like the shop and people you work with and for stay.
Bigger shop and more money isn't alway the best if the people you work with suck ***....
My boss now super high strung , nice guy though , cheep isn’t really investing in the shop , the shop that called me ,is investing in the future my buddy works there , I know the boss fair place to work ? Really torn have lots of customers that will follow me ,I’m too old to start my own so working for someone else is appealing , bigger shop means I’m not on my back in the parking lot fixing motor homes in the rain in January?

What happened to FOG? haven't herd from him in sometime.
I haven't heard from him either. Could be busy with his garden, he has a green thumb. We got more rain last night which will make it really muggy today and supposed to really hot again this weekend. Time to close up and turn the ac back on.

Doesn't matter how much time and money you spend on a car Fred. You're the only one you have to please and you've done a great job on it. Can't wait to see it pull in my driveway LOL (But bring a mask LOL)

Are you happy where you are or do you dread going into work Biff? What about benefits, pension etc. Might be more money but at our age benefits are very important. Is your buddy happy working there and does the boss treat him fair. You could be jumping from the frying pan into the fire. You'll know if it's the right move or not because you work there. See what you're boss has to offer and then decide.
