ProForged LCA bushing install question

I bought a set of pro forged LCA bushings and had a question on installing the pin. Does the pin get pressed into the inner sleeve to the point where it would bottom out on the sleeve due to the ridge on the pin, and continue to be pressed where the until the bigger ridge is flush on the exposed bushing like shown in the last picture? Thanks

The bushing presses on the pin up to the first step on the pin oriented like your last pic.
 
The bushing presses on the pin up to the first step on the pin oriented like your last pic. Then the bushing presses In the lower control arm all the way until it stops just make sure to press on the outer sleeve of the bushing when pressing into the control arm to prevent distortion of the bushing material.

The bushings I have in the picture already have an outer metal sleeve on them, there would be no way you could press it onto an old sleeve
 
I seen that after I posted I changed my reply

I posted another pic of how I think it goes. Pin gets pressed into cent sleeve and when its all the way to the ridge it gets pushed in further stooping at the big ridge, I take it since stock bushings did not have that extra martial out of the casing.
Would be nice if the bushings told you haw to install them.

I think your correct just makes sense to me as well.
I have never used the poly ones so I can’t say for sure but if not done the way you state then the relation of the lower control arm to the K member would be wrong.
 
Never used those, but yes, it looks like they should be pressed all the way. Not sure I really like the setup, though.
 
if the bushing is the same length as stock + the pin is stock + the pin needs to be in the stock position = the pin needs to be installed just like the stock ones.
 
And the way I imagined it seems to put the pin in the stock position just wanted to double check.

I don't see why these bushings would be a worse set up, hopefully they will last better than stock, either way suspension upgrade will happen down the line.
 
The one thing I’m not sure about on these is how you press them into the lower control arm without putting
stress on the bushing material.
 
Put a socket that fits snug inside the bushing when you press the pin in. You need to support the sleeve or you will destroy the bushing.
