Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yes, so I am told........We will find out.......It might only be the timing marker is different.....on other side.....
Hmmm I can look tomorrow, literally have one sitting right next to a 318 too...

Strange day today...Got up this morning..(a good thing), went to a cars and coffee event in the Challenger..(a good thing). My wife and i came home, then a buddy and I worked on the Dart I have in the garage, trying to get it ready for paint..(a good thing). Then my son calls...he said the Duster just died....i think it got pretty hot...(a bad thing). I hopped in the truck and went to him. Couldnt get it to start and it was warmer than i would like by the gauge...(a bad thing). I go get the trailer and we load the car. We bring it to the house and for some strange reason it has no spark. I clean a connection near the bulk head and...BOOM it fires right off. Oil looks good, topped off the radiator and, all seems well...(a good thing).
Later, got cleaned up, took the wife out for dinner in the Challenger and, we cruised for a couple hours so, all in all a good day but, I'm going to need to do some more investigating on why the Duster got warm to begin with.

Need to use the old style because of the outlet, needs to be on the left side to work with my new 66 style Rad.....

Keep the original vibration damper for the 360 so it's balanced correctly... The mark will be 90° off...

Just put the engine at TDC and draw a new timing mark on the balancer where the old style timing marks will be at 0°/TDC....

Then you will have the proper radiator hose fit, proper balance, and then also be able to run the 66 style molded radiator hoses....

There’s a difference in timing covers?

Yes, so I am told........We will find out.......It might only be the timing marker is different.....on other side.....

Yes, after 69 they moved the lower radiator hose outlet from the pass side to the driver's side... The timing marks had to be moved 90°...

Other than that the bolt pattern on the water pump is the same foot print and will interchange....

No. I ordered one, have to use a 360 timing cover, hope the pump works....

The pump will work on that timing cover, the timing marks on the cover will be blocked...

You could also get the 64 - 68 timing tab that bolts to the two lower water pump bolts and use that for the timing marks...

However, if it were me, I would use the early timing cover with the early water pump for a cleaner installation... The timing chain covers will interchange...

Morning. We getting rain too.
Supposed to be some high winds today as well.

Man, 7 years, 7 years on Wednesday since I traded a blown up Stealth RTT for my dart.
