When I was a kid my old man was working on I 40 through the Mojave. During winter it was my job to light all the smudge pots to keep the water for the ready mix plant from freezing. In summer I take his company truck to the company yard where they had their own ice storage facility and load the truck with 50 lbs. blocks of ice. Bring them back to the ready mix plant and shove them into the water tank for the concrete. I didn't even have a DL

In the 40’s all day today. Have a little bit of painting, guess i should do it early. Then it will be dry enough to assemble the box.

Moved all the cars out back. Duster started pretty good for not moving in a month and a half. Grass is soaked from heavy dew, so kinda taking my time to get things out. Will put some on the driveway, but want that open so people can turn around. Our road gets pretty busy. Sucks to back out...

Went with my wife to drop off some items at her brothers home approx. 2hr drive, they weren’t to be there just put it on bench, turned to go back in car and neighbors were having a get together as people were arriving, the garage doors were open and there sat a Dart Sport in primmer. Brother never mentioned that to me. A few blocks away there was a nice 68 Satellite in driveway, l need to go back
