Factory tires were 7.00x13 Goodyear Power Cushion. From April 1965 6.95x14.Looking at the FAST class. What are the biggest factory installed tire for 1965 Dodge Dart 273/4bbl?
?? What in the world has this to do with what tire came stock on a '65 Dart?I believe you can run one tire size above what was offered and still be legal. The factory exhaust manifolds will be a bigger hurdle probably.

My toes are fine. I just didn't see the tie-in between his question and your answer. I see it now, thanks.I'm familiar with the class of racing he is talking about. Didn't mean to step on YOUR toes. I'll be sure to keep to myself now though.
Thanks for spelling it out Rusty lol.
I remember that my Dad was given a great deal on a showroom special 1965 4 door 273/4 Dart, that he bought during the Presidents Day sale in 1966. I distinctly remember washing the car in the springtime and the tires were 14". I looked in the tech manual and nothing listed about the tire size. Thought that with a 14" tire I could move to a 15" and have more tire surface on the blacktop. My toes are fine. I just didn't see the tie-in between his question and your answer. If you areI just had this conversation with my brother tonight. He is building a 69 Firebird 350 HO 3sp car for stock class ... I was wondering why nobody runs a 440 Dart or Barracuda in the FAST class .?
Does anybody do extrude honing anymore? That would help with flow.I believe you can run one tire size above what was offered and still be legal. The factory exhaust manifolds will be a bigger hurdle probably.
If you are
talking about tha a-body 440s, its cause they have to run stock exhaust manifolds, and a-body 440 manifolds are about five grand.
