Dig the Cherokee out in the parking lot at Mammoth Mtn in the Sierras after 3' overnight event with one of these View attachment 1715681922
Of course the guy clearing the parking lot made 3' into a 5' berm behind all the vehicles :BangHead:
Those are always fun.... not. We had to dig an entire bunker in hard, dry clay with those things, yuck

You would pay more than that to get one rebuilt, but when and by who? I know you just want a mock up, but could resell if it was good.
I just need case. I have a rebuilt at hoppys already.

We are driving up on Friday and heading home on Sunday. Last time, it was 5 hours up, see as much as possible, BBQ by Ramie with all the guys (thanks again Ramie is was awesome @straightlinespeed), then 5 hours home. Very long day and worth it all.
That was a fun time, and if Im still here we plan on doing it again.

Has anyone had Paypal ask for their social security number so they can report all of your 'sales' to the tax man??? I just got that pop up today???

Done round 2 driveway cleanup. Near 6". So that's getting close to 11" since this mess started. It was coming down fast when I did the deck out back a bit earlier. I was lucky and caught a lull to do the driveway. Still another 2-6 forecasted...

Sounds like this storm is gonna go full bore over the next several hours. Confusing to follow predicted totals cause some are showing from beginning and some for the new round starting now. I think we could get a foot today/tonight on top of near 6 already. Not doing much now, but saying should see strong winds and a couple inches per hour this afternoon. Looks like Dave @Ddaddy got the freezing rain early this morning. Apparently a spritz of that made it out this far a but I had enough fluff on the ground that I didn't get iced.
Yeah, we had sleet and freezing rain from about 4-6 am. Then heavy sleet after that until about 2 pm before it switched back to snow.

So far we got 3” of snow, followed by 1” of sleet and freezing rain, followed by 3” of heavy sleet topped with 2” of snow...and its still going. Snow isn’t predicted to end until late tomorrow afternoon.

At least the wind gusts have died down. Just steady North winds at 18-20 mph now.

We were on the edge of that mixed mess. Had brief freezing rain and some sleet this morning before the snow got going. Stayed all snow after that.

You must be in a weird pocket to get these 'sandwiches' of snow, ice, snow, ice....

Yeah, we are on the ridge between the Delaware valley and the Brandywine Valley. The direction of the wind and atmospheric lift heavily influence which weather we get.

The ridge makes its own weather.

Keith is on the other side of the Susquehanna valley, one over from the Brandywine valley.

Hoppy is on the east side of the Susquehanna valley further north where the ridges become mountains.

Tike is up north on the other side of the mountains that run through central PA. His weather tends to be more influenced by the Allegheny valley and Lake Erie beyond.

Pennsylvania is a patchwork of mountains, ridges and river valleys.

2-3 inches of snow? 30 mph sustained winds? LMAO, that is a heavy frost up here! Hah! Sadly I fear we are soon going to pay for our lack of winter thus far. It has only been sub zero for a few days thus far this Winter. The other foot has to fall at some point but every day is one day closer to our three weeks of summer!

I thought your Summer was supposed to be on a Tuesday this year...
