Back from the golf course. Tried a new one today, never played there. I sucked, lots of "WTF do I hit the ball"? Fun tho....

My sister from La Pine OR just met up with Mark and his wife who drove up there to pick up a hood, she said they were very nice. They brought a nice gift, 16 craft specialty beers from their area, very classy thing to do! The beers had great names like Separation Anxiety, Free Kittens, Fast Pass To Hell, pretty cool!

Always great when FABO connections bring another A body closer to finished.
So this was your hood? And they got the beer?

Mmmm that was good. Mae cooked a big roast down till falling apart in the crock pot... Roast beef sandwich with American cheese and hot peppers on a torpedo roll. I made some fries from fresh cut potatoes with old bay. And of course -beer.

I got that roast in the crock pot going thing myself. Fall apart tender.

Ice fishing crappie chips. With cheese potatoes go so good with beer? It should be illegal.

Was going to mention the brake bleeding episode. I used the vacuum pump to pull fluid through. But you all know how poorly that works. Until today.
Pulled bleeder screw out, found a nylon lock nut and an o-ring to fit the bleeder screw. Snugged it up,and connected the can and pump. Put the vacuum to it. It pulled fluid really really well! When the big bubbles stopped i was sure it was free of air. I filled the resevoir twice per side. Still have to do front yet, but its all sealed up for now.

You suck! I have no idea how to make a roast. Need to learn. I had to settle for a ribeyen baked tater, salad and yeast rolls. And, believe it or not, a nice bourbon to wash it down..

I sure do want a roast!

I had some Rare Eagle a little earlier. Time for another sip of something. Oh a whisky tasting discussion on you tube coming up soon

You can complicate it in various ways, but mostly put roast in crockpot with some water on high and forget about it for a couple hours. Lol
But it sounds like you did alright...

Recipes like this one  where it asks for seasoning and searing the beast before the crock pot and water added to the crock pot, I take half the water it asks for in the form of your favorite fermented but not distilled beverage many of which are barley based and scrub those little goodies that get stuck in the skillet when searing and put that fluid in the crock pot with the remainder of the required water. :D

Everyone has a different way and we all learn how we like it best...I just posted enough to get him started. The rest is a learning curve.
