I was bad, dizzy as hell, lost a ton of weight went down to 90 from 140. Cant get disability because it is a un diagnosed issue from the va. I do get 30% from them and a early retirement from being a technician. . Burning through my 401K to live hopefully next year it will get better I get my military retirement and have 4500 points so it should be good.
That should be around 2k a month, and TriCare for life for you.

Holy crap, that ain't right.

Thats what I figured. I cant find a calculator for it. I also have deployment time to come off the 60 age. Be nice to get say 6 months sooner.

No it is not. I got the shot so I could go to help with the Haiti earthquake also. Got nothing to show for 25 years of doing whatever they wanted and had to seriously fight for what I got. I just deal with the crap about all I can do.

And did you know that after 2008 every quarter in a combat zone entitled you to a quarter time earlier in retirement?? So for my year in 2010, I got my retirement nine months earlier.
Ya missed a year in country by four days, but by then and how I felt, that would of been four days too long.
Also you need to submit your packet for retirement pay a year in advance. Usually through your state NG rep.

I know that. Freaking air guard would pull you at 89 days. I do have 6 months that should count.

I did not know about the packet how do I get that?
Call the state HQ and ask to speak to someone about retirement. Kansas has a E-7 in personnel that handled ours. She verified some information and sent me the packet which I forwarded to MILPO in Kentucky I think. A few weeks later I got a letter from them telling me when retirement pay started, bla, bla... Once a year I get a letter telling me what the monthly payment will be. Like the VA we get the same increased the others do.

Good Evening all you retired GI's. Got to wait each month for the Eagle to ****......

We do, but it's always a **** cleanup I enjoy.
No state or federal taxes on the VA money, and no state taxes on the National Guard retirement...SWEET!!

I’d damn sure try.. where did you buy it? Do they still sell them?
Lowe’s. And no they don’t. The 1-800 number warranty they gave and the 800 number on the tag both are disconnected.

I must have grabbed the Covid TP out of the basement. So thin you can see both sides at once! Like Dad used to say. "you could read the damn newspaper through that."
