Will have a black Landau top. Decided to have one made, correct material...8 weeks out.
There is a lot of chrome trim not in pictures. Will look different for sure...
Sorry. I know he ment a lot to you. As did mine to me.
He will be gone 45 years this August. Not a day goes by I dont think of him.
No one is truly gone if there is one to hold the memory.

Tim, as you may or may not remember (4 years ago!) Dave did the same type of rendering request for my hood. It saved the day! I love the way it turned out. He fiddled with colors and trim several times until I liked it. Then we painted it per his version! Worked out great!Looks like it means business......

Perhaps his love and respect for you was deep enough that he was determined to last until your daughter was born. The bond between grandfathers and grandsons is special. Every time your daughter smiles at you figure he is watching you thru her eyes and smiling with her.
So my grandfather and I were hanging out in his little shop, room. I was about 8. I asked, "What is the big deal with a boy and a girl sleeping together"? He said, I have no problem with them sleeping together, the problem is they don't sleep! I said 'Huh"??
He was a good man....

Good news. Well as good as possible. Baby girl released from hospital. Home with mama.
