Works well, soakes the whole area and you can add liquid fertilize also to it.

Kinda like soaker hose I guess. I haven't had any problems with my emitters but they are pretty good size and I have staked them up for the most of it.
Only reason I got away from them the soak one small area and then the water migrates to the dry area, depends what your growing really. Hops are water hungry about a half gallon a day for each pant.

I want to get a grinder/wire wheel combo with a light for the new garage.
I never really had the room for one and the neighbor let me use his. He has his on a pedestal.
I like it and leaning towards that versus a bench model. Either will work, won't use it a lot.
I want adjustable speed, any brand recommendations are appreciated.

Look at Grizzly tools they have some adjustable speed ones and I think TP tools also.
Get at least a 8". I sold a few Dewalt grinders while on the truck. It's not variable speed. I guess I have never seen one that was. I have a couple variable power supplies to handle that if needed.
I like buying a major brand name in case you need to buy a switch or something like that later on down the road.

Be nice to with a fold down back seat, put a carryall bow on it and use it for yard work, hauling limbs, etc...
Gas or electric that is the question. I know electric you replace the batteries every four years or so for $600 or more, plus you have to charge it. Gas for as much as we'll use it, garage kept seems like the better choice. If I went gas I need to get one with a Kawasaki engine.

Be careful mounting a grinder on a bench.... Mine shakes the hell out of the bench and things fall off...
I read some reviews a few minutes ago and others have the same problem.
I put mine on a stand. Way better deal. Easier to grind and wire brush odd shaped items. You can pull it out into the middle of the floor if needed. On the bench not so much. LOL
