Now that the weather is warming up here in the summer of Alaska I’m thinking I need a fan shroud on my duster. I’ve got a 180° thermostat and it runs perfectly at 180 while I’m driving, but as soon as I come to a stop and sit at an intersection or something the temperature starts climbing. because I’ve got no shroud. what’s a good source for a shroud to fit this configuration?

You might contact the radiator manufacturer or dealer to see if they have shrouds

Thanks but the radiator was in the car when I bought it. I have no idea who is the manufacturer. I can’t find any markings on it the cap is a standard cool cap so I was just hoping somebody had a source

Possibly an E-body 26”. Those are fairly flat.

you’d have to get the height and width outside edge dimensions for on though.

The fan is close enough you don’t need a shroud. From the looks of it that water pump pulley looks pretty big. It should be the same size or smaller than the crank pulley. If it’s not, fix that.

It looks likes like a 1st gen Camaro radiator. If you can confirm by measuring, then all the camaro shrouds have a good chance of fitting.

That radiator looks similar to the universal Summit (Northern) crossflow that I mounted in my 66 Dart. For a shroud, I ended up gutting a later model t-bird electric fan and just using the shroud. It fit great and had a perfect offset.

Except the engine is centered in the chassis on a Camaro and not on a Chrysler.
ooh! Good point.

Then other than the OEM mfg, it's going to be very difficult to find a direct fit shroud for that radiator. In that case, i'd just find a local heating and AC place to custom make one. It's just a few right angle bends.

Ordinarly I would not disagree but Camaro engines are set in the middle of the car and Mopar engines are offset to the right 1/2-3/4" therefore causing an interference issue . It appears that it is not a 22" A-body radiator which means a fabed shroud is in order . IMO

I suggest you make a shroud . Measure your rad . From a metal supplier purchase a sheet of 6061-T6 aluminum .080" thick . Add channel aluminum wide enough to put the fan half way into the shroud cut hole in the sheet stock 1" larger than the diameter of the fan . You can pop rivet , bolt or heli-arc the frame to the radiator tabs for servicing . sounds complicated but it's cake .
