Stop in for a cup of coffee

Really? That sounds way high. Hell, I only get around 25 in the 2.0 4cyl Neon.
That one has always been good. Buick uses a low differential gear. The same transmission out of a Pontiac will be more peppy out of the gate but 3 or 4 MPG less on the highway. With mine, the difference between 65 and 75 mph is about 5 mpg.

I used to get 25 - 27 city and 32 - 34 in my 85 Chrysler Laser 2.2 turbo back in the day...

I got 35/36 MPG following my brother pulling our road runner on a trailer and drafting him a little along the way....

Went yard sailing. Neon almost didn’t make it. Was losing power up a hill and died. Waited a minute, restarted. Fired it again as I got to my driveway. Codes point to ignition. I had changed the coil recently for a misfire on #4, but code came back not long after. Still had the old coil. Swapped it back in and everything cleared. Just drove a few minutes and nothing came back. Going car shopping…

Old man Ray messaged me. Flat in front. I am sending buckles to get rechromed. Did not want to send wrong parts

Ugh it’s over. The estate auction that is. Pretty disappointed in the results. But such is life.

Really went over the Pop yesterday on the lift, Found a few things that I must have been in a hurry with, I plan on going over 100% of the car before it rolls out. Dam shifter bushing is prob going to be a PIA to make that will last. Dam tempted to do some sort of cable shift from the column linkage to the trans, have to find a short push/pull cable. That was a ***** to figure out how to make work with the z bar and really just want to dump that whole set up.
The bushing was crap on my power wagon. I cut a piece of 1/2” teflon, long enough for 2 mounting holes and a hole for the shaft. Never had an issue after that.
